The day has arrived! Nerves were high but it’s over and I’m looking forward to seeing the results. I’m not gonna lie, it hurt but I must be a masochist at heart to endure this, looking forward to seeing the end result in the coming days and months. Check out my vlog and see how it went.

Out and about. It’s been 4 days since my Fraxel procedure and I’ve mustered up enough confidence to leave my cave – cabin fever has set in and I must escape. My face isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I continue to wash every 3 hours with the distilled vinegar and distilled water mix. My face is absorbing the moisturizer/ointment like a sponge. I’m off to see Katie to see how my face is coming along. Visit to FUZION was GREAT! Kati informed me that I’m healing very well and that I should be minimally red by day 7. I stopped by my friend Melina’s house to show her my results – check out the Hilarious antics of my visit.

72 hrs. later and my face is beginning to heal. My face feels like it is drying out faster than day one – I can’t wash and moisturize fast enough. I defiantly feel a difference. I highly recommend sleep and movies during the healing process, it helps pass the time. Check out my vlog to see day three results.

24 hrs. since my Fraxel procedure and my face is a bit sore. I look forward to washing my face every 3 hours, with the recommended wash and putting on the ointment and moisturizer to sooth the discomfort Over all I’m feeling fine and its’ a great way for me to catch up on old tv shows cued up in my DVR. Are you ready to watch my first big procedure at FUZION? It wasn’t as bad as I thought. But you can be the judge of that…

I am about to embark on a journey to have my acne scars permanently removed by the fraxel re:pair CO2 laser. Kati went over the procedure with me a few days ago complete with diagrams, instruments, and photos. Kati is amazing and really knows what she is talking about and addressed all of my MANY questions and concerns.

I’m excited and nervous at the same time if that makes any sense. The end result should be amazing so I will continue to keep you posted on progress.

I also wanted to let you all know that in addition to my blog, I will be vlogging on everything from consultations, procedures, post procedure results and about things going on in general. I hope you all tune in and watch my progress and transformation and I welcome you to ask any questions – if I don’t have the answers, we can make them part of my dialogue with Kati.

Hi Ya’ll! Thanks for visiting the “Bruno Gabs” blog and following my Aesthetic journey being led by Kati and Dr. Goodkind @ FUZION. The name of the blog is apropos as my friends will agree with out a doubt- I love to gab!

A little background as to why I chose FUZION. I was introduced to Kati through some mutual friends, Ali & Dawn who suggested that I visit FUZION for a face scan by Laura, the FUZION Aesthetician. Before we get to the results of the scan – here’s a little background on me. I’m a 33 yr. old male who has been a fan of GTL long before Jersey Shore made it popular. Working out is a daily ritual and tanning was until Dec. of ’09 – when I met Laura.

My facial scan graded my skin at a level “D” which is pretty bad considering “F” is the worst. Laura informed me that most of the sun damage the scan was showing occurred in my 20′s and would progressively get worse if I didn’t break the tanning habit. Needless to say Laura’s words became my gospel and I haven’t seen the inside of a tanning salon since.

In the weeks and months to come you will learn more about me, my level of vanity and struggles with adult acne, acne scarring and yo-yo dieting. So stay tuned and I promise to keep you both entertained and informed so that you too can begin to think about long term maintenance and how FUZION can help you achieve your maximum potential.

And Bruno, meet world!

We will be watching Bruno over the next few months as he goes on a medical aesthetic makeover with us here at FUZION Medical Aesthetic Boutique. As you know, FUZION believes that aging gracefully is not just a woman’s concern. It’s everyone’s right!

So we’ll be exploring image gratification with Bruno. We’ve selected Bruno to help give you a glimpse of what really happens in medical aesthetics. You will see him have consultations to diagnose his concerns, answer his questions, watch him prepare for procedures (and bite his nails in anticipation) and see his graceful transformation and progress.

We’re sure you are wondering to yourselves, “Why Bruno?” Well, he is a 30-something man who spends a fair amount of time getting and staying healthy. He watches what he eats like a hawk. He exercises like a crazy man daily. And he wants to take care of the rest of his appearance, including his skin in a proactive manner. Over the years, his acne left some scaring and his self-described “yo-yo” battle with his weight has left his skin a little looser than he’s like (including some stretch marks!). Throw in his affinity for the tanning beds, and even at in his early 30′s, Bruno, needs FUZION’s help to not only stop, but reverse the damage done to himself.

Bruno will have a variety of procedures, including Fraxel CO2 Laser treatment, BOTOX, dermal fillers, laser hair removal and more. He promises to keep written and video diaries that he will post weekly here. Please feel free to post questions for him that he can answer, or Kati or Dr. Goodkind will answer. We’ll also be having events throughout the year that you can attend and ask him your questions in person too.
